Individually performed small incision cataract surgery, trabeculectomy with combined procedures, DCT, primary repair in ocular injuries.
Assisted in various vitreo-retinal procedures and that’s when the zeal to do a dedicated fellowship programme was encouraged and instigated by my senior Dr.Atul Ursekar.

Post fellowship: One year Full Time dedicated vitreo-retinal consultant.
During my tenure in Amritsar I received exhaustive exposure to FFA, B-Scan, retinal lasers both green and red diode with TTT. Performed number of retinal surgeries. Scleral buckling, simple and complicated vitretomies for PVR, PDR with TRD, macular holes, ERM removal, IOFB removal, intraocular cysticercosis, endophthalmitis management, intravitreal TPA with gas for sub macular hemorrhages and others.
PHACOEMULSIFICATION
Underwent a short term Phacoemulsification training programme at K.B.Haji Bachooli Eye Hospital.
MOORFIELDS EYE HOSPITAL, LONDON, UK.
Fellowship in vitreo-retina for period of 15 days. (may, 2011)
Currently :
Since December, 2000 I am into private practice as a consulting eye surgeon with specialist vitreo-retina consultant and surgeon in various hospitals in Mumbai. I was also a visiting vitreo-retinal surgeon to pune. (Dr. Ashok Moolani)
I am regularly performing phacoemulsification cataract surgery and all vitreo-retina procedures. I am also actively managing ROP in Prince Aly Khan hospital. I am well versed with all the latest advances and development in the field of RETINA and Cataract.
By numbers, I have performed 3000 vitreo-retina surgeries, procedures, and lasers. And more than 5000 cataract surgeries of which approximately 80% are by phacoemulsification.
